Terms of Use
By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
Website information
Website content is general information about dock construction, waterfront repair, rebuilding, maintenance, custom upgrades, shoreline work, and prior project experience. It is not engineering, structural, electrical, environmental, permitting, or legal advice.
Estimate requests
An online request or site visit does not create a contract or obligate either party. Site conditions, the final scope, responsible parties, pricing, and timing are controlled by the applicable written estimate or agreement.
Licensed and permitted work
Locke’s Docks does not claim an independent marine contractor license. When a project requires contractor licensure or a permit, the applicable permitting and contractor-of-record responsibilities are handled through an appropriately licensed contractor partner. Electrical, plumbing, and other trade-specific work may be completed through appropriately licensed trades.
Permits and approvals
Dock, shoreline, aquatic vegetation, and related activities may require owner authorization and federal, state, water-management-district, county, municipal, or homeowners-association approval. Requirements vary by site and scope. Responsibility for permits and approvals will be established before regulated work begins.
Maintenance limitations
Cleaning, staining, vegetation removal, and maintenance results depend on the material, condition, access, weather, water, and ongoing exposure. Visual observations are not professional structural, engineering, or electrical inspections.
Photographs and results
Photographs illustrate waterfront construction, repairs, maintenance, equipment, and completed-project experience. Every property and project is different, and past results do not guarantee an identical outcome.

The website is provided “as is” to the extent allowed by law. Nothing here limits rights or liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Terms for any paid service are controlled by the applicable written agreement.
